Romantic Dream. The Blush Garden Wedding

Romantic. Elegant. Classic. Hannah & Jake's wedding day was that and so much more. Every detail had meaning and each element wove together to create a day you will never forget.

Venue: Saint Andrews Chapel

Photographer: Elizabeth Baxter

Cater: Puff-n-Stuff

Cake: 4Rivers

Planner: Dairing Day Of

Hannah dreamed of a bouquet of peonies. Unfortunately, the incredible peony was not in season, instead, her bouquet was filled with the most fragrant Alexander Garden roses from Grace Rose Farm Alexander Garden Roses. I wish you could smell how amazing these roses just filled the air.

Saint Andrews Chapel is stunning. The grandeur of the space needed to have florals that were large in scale and not just a small note. We created the front of the Chapel in several pieces that flowed like a garden. The urns and pillars gave the exact height we needed.

Tip: When designing ceremony florals consider where the bridal party is going to be standing. Are they covering the florals? Can you see them from where the guests are seated? Would they show up in your photos?

So many times, couples spend a lot of money on flowers that are not seen because the bridal party is covering them. Or then comes time for group photos the flowers are so low on the arch the whole group covers the flowers. Consider getting the flowers higher in the design.

Each of the florals pieces in the Ceremony were then transferred to the Reception to be woven into the design.

The Chapel Entry

The entry into the Chapel was important to Hannah. Her vision was a garden feel.

We designed two 9ft Floral Towers.

The Reception

The Reception was a romantic sit-down dinner enjoyed by candlelight. We repurposed the Ceremony florals into the two large fireplaces.

Each table had low centerpieces which were designed in a takeaway dish. Once the event was over, the insert dish is removed and the rented compotes could be returned. for the guest.

I hope you can take some of these floral ideas and weave them into your event.
